District 3 in JCPS is in the Northernmost section of East Louisville. Bordered by the Waterfront and the Oldham County border to the North and East, the district zig zags from Prospect through Worthington, Springhurst, and Fincastle and parts of Worthington Hills, Ballardsville and Freys Hill. The map continues west of Anchorage to Middletown and continues west along Highway 64 through Hurstbourne, Douglass Hills and Lyndon. It continues to the east of St. Matthews, including parts of Beechwood Village, Woodlawn Park, Windy Hills and the Cherokee section of Indian Hills, Robinswood, Riverwood, and back up to River Road where it covers Longview, Woodside, Glenview, Juniper Beach and Beachland Beach before meeting up with Prospect again. In the heart of District 3, you’ll also find Greymoor-Devondale, Spring Valley, Plantation, Old Brownsboro Place, Barbormeade, Rolling Hills and Northfield.
Some recent changes were made to the district boundary maps as a result of the latest Census data. To find out (or confirm) who your JCPS Board Member is, please visit the Board member locator on the JCPS website.
